Position Highlights

 

As a Senior Marketing Communications Advisor, you’ll help champion ICBC’s brand internally and externally. You’re excited by the opportunity to meet new people across the company to share the corporate identify and culture, inspiring them to live it and apply it consistency in all of our interactions and channels.

 

Your experience in brand management skills will be key along with strong project management skills, as you develop creative briefs, optimize marketing processes, work with our business partners to rollover old assets, and organize project implementation and reporting. People skills will help you build partnerships with other business areas to apply the corporate identity throughout the organization. This includes working closely with other Customer Experience and Public Affairs teams in facilities, broker relations and governance, media relations, internal communications, customer experience and digital, and creative services to rollout the identity throughout all channels.

 

You’ll also recommend and facilitate ongoing reporting, measurement and analysis, identifying trends and making recommendations for continuous improvements for the ICBC Campaign and Initiatives team while building collaboration and an understanding of brand governance and management across the organization.

 

Position Requirements

 

  • Experience in brand management, governance, and implementation in a large national or provincial organization with multiple physical locations
  • Strong creative judgment – assessing creative for alignment to standards, achievement of communication objectives and overall aesthetics
  • Understanding of strategic marketing including digital and standard marketing channels
  • Strong project management skills - including project plan documentation, timelines and action item assignments, and reporting
  • Strong organizational skill, able to manage multiple projects, and evaluate urgency
  • A collaborative team-player with a strong desire to learn and collaborate as part of an integrated team
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Able to communicate at all levels of an organization
  • University or college degree in marketing, business, communications or an equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
  • 5 or more years off relevant work experience in professional brand management, marketing, advertising or communications
  • 3-5 years of advertising agency experience is an asset
  • Experience in the public or non-profit sector considered an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

 

This is a temporary six month assignment ending April 30th, 2025.

Work arrangements defined:
