The End User Solutions team at ICBC is responsible for managing endpoint devices and implementing modern workplace technologies that support efficient collaboration and communication.
We are looking for an Infrastructure Platform Admin II to join the Endpoint Device Management workgroup. This team supports the security and stability of our Windows, MacOS and iOS endpoint devices.
An Infrastructure Platform Admin II provides Tier II technical support and guidance for implementing, maintaining, and monitoring corporate computing platforms. Under the supervision of senior staff, an Infrastructure Platform Admin II is entrusted with tasks that contribute to routine operational requirements and support corporate projects.
To be successful in this role a candidate must possess technical knowledge in endpoint device management technology solutions, including but not limited to:
Microsoft Configuration Manager
Microsoft Intune
The candidate must have shown, within the past year, experience in:
- Providing remote support to users on Windows, MacOS and iOS devices
- Deploying software through Microsoft Configuration Manager or Microsoft Intune
- Configuring endpoints using Group Policy Objects or Configuration Profiles
- Managing Windows updates using Automatic Deployment Rules or Windows Update for Business
- Provisioning devices using Operating System Deployment (OSD) or Autopilot
- Automating tasks with PowerShell , Python, Bash, KQL or other common scripting languages.
To be considered for this position, candidates must demonstrate the following competencies:
- Skill in managing, prioritizing, and completing several tasks at once.
- Capacity to make decisions that support strategic objectives or business practices.
- Advanced technical support expertise, including a track record of efficiently solving complex problems and offering practical solutions for users.
- Background in technical consulting, with experience guiding stakeholders on best practices and recommending ideal technology options.
- Effective project planning capabilities, demonstrated by organizing resources, setting clear goals, and overseeing timelines to ensure projects are completed successfully.
Experience in the following technical areas or solutions would be considered assets:
- Experience working with Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID to manage users, groups, and devices.
- Understanding of Microsoft Entra Conditional Access Policies.
- Familiarity with virtual desktop platforms like Windows 365 or Citrix.
- Proficient in updating device BIOS and drivers using technologies such as Lenovo Commercial Vantage, Lenovo Dock Manager, or their equivalents.
- Knowledgeable about enterprise security tools including BitLocker, Windows Firewall, Defender for Endpoint, and Windows Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS).
- Skilled in assessing end-user hardware and peripherals to establish standards for the enterprise.
- Background supporting managed print services, which include deploying print device drivers.

Work arrangements defined:
