Position Highlights
Enhanced Care & Legal Business Improvement is seeking a qualified candidate to join their fast-paced team as Business Process Advisor. The successful candidate will focus on providing oversight and guidance on the business design (i.e. alignment of people, process, policy, systems) ensuring continuous improvement and traceability to the business strategy and goals of the assigned division.
Job Accountabilities:
- Identifies business process performance measures and monitors business process performance against the goals. Identifies business and process gaps, misalignments and improvements, using performance measures, feedback, maturity models, etc. ensuring alignment to articulated goals
- Provides strategic advice and makes recommendations to optimize and continuously improve the design of the business (i.e. people, process, policy and systems) to achieve the business goals. Build the case for change.
- Acts as a business lead and facilitator in continuous improvement events demonstrating strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills to drive consensus and actionable outcomes.
- Lead business representatives responsible for ensuring business changes are designed and implemented meeting business needs. Provides presentations, education and training on business changes, as required tailoring communication to diverse audiences and influencing adoption of change.
- Provides process advice and expertise to the assigned division and promotes the adoption of these practices while building trusted relationships and credibility across the organization.
- Leads the development and implementation of benefit measurement plans with the involvement of business representatives, obtaining endorsement of responsible business units for projected benefits.
Position Requirements
- Demonstrated strong delivery focus, ability to work with the ambiguity of the planning and definition stage and bring the operational focus to deliver business results, while maintaining adaptability and resilience in dynamic environments.
- Proven business knowledge of the principles, concepts, strategies and best practices related to project management, enterprise business architecture and process change, business analysis, change management and testing analysis.
- Knowledge of the theories, practices and techniques for business case preparation and information technology trends and developments.
- Knowledge of process improvement principles, concepts, and methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
- Knowledge of governing acts and regulations pertaining to the insurance industry.
- Knowledge of insurance, driver licensing products and services and claims handling practices.
- Knowledge of division and corporate business functions, products, services and goals.
- Knowledge of business processes and related systems technology in the assigned divisions and business areas, with an emphasis on Enhanced Care.
- Exceptional communication and consulting skills, including the ability to influence without authority, build strong stakeholder relationships, and present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose root causes and recommend practical, strategic solutions.
- Ability to navigate organizational dynamics, manage competing priorities, and maintain a client-focused mindset.
The ideal candidate will hold either an undergraduate degree, a professional designation, an MBA and/or professional experience as a consultant.

Work arrangements defined:
- Hybrid 8 – you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
