Position Highlights 

 

Our Workforce Planning and Optimization department is seeking two (2) Workforce Analysts (Business Insights Analysts II) to provide statistical analysis and resource modelling for internal customers. These are temporary full-time opportunities for a period between 6 and 18 months.

 

This role offers a unique opportunity to investigate and model complex data and present insights to senior leaders. You will leverage strong analytical, critical thinking, and business acumen skills to deliver accurate and consistent staffing models that support business needs. Success in this role requires exceptional communication and presentation abilities, along with a consultative approach to building effective business relationships and translating data into actionable insights.

 

 

Position Requirements

 

  • 3+ years of data mining and analysis or statistical modelling experience
  • Advanced Excel abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage deliverables independently and meet commitments
  • Proven ability to critically think through business problems and ambiguity
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including reporting and presenting insights to diverse audiences
  • Ability to use technical tools, computer applications and databases to extract data, develop and present analysis
  • Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work effectively and accurately within a dynamic environment
  • Educational background in Statistics will be considered an asset

Work arrangements defined:

 

  • Hybrid 8 – you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
