Position Highlights
We have a great opportunity for an experienced team leader to take on the Supervisor role with the RevenueStock Operations team in North Vancouver. You will provide technical and analytical expertise, and supervision tothe department. You will also be involved in hiring, training and mentoring staff and will play an instrumental role indriving and leading their success, ensuring they are motivated to achieve their goals.

Key responsibilities include some but not all of the following:

  • Provide full level of supervision to a unit including training, evaluating performance, coaching and motivatingstaff and provides technical guidance and direction to others;
  • Provides leadership guidance and technical support to staff, Autoplan Brokers and internal customers;
  • Contributes feedback on initiatives or project documentation in order to develop and/or supportrecommendations on business/systems solutions as it pertains to revenue stock;
  • Develops new (or updates existing) procedures, policies, or systems changes that relate to revenue stockreconciliation and audit, including PNP application procedures;
  • Initiates action for the opening and closing of brokerages. Reviews weekly inventory status reports, closelymonitors warehouse stock levels and prepares purchase requisitions for license plates;
  • Assists in preparing invitations for tender, participates and provides feedback in reviews of vendor’s bids andperformance;
  • Reconciles general ledger account, creates journal vouchers and provides plate activity and financial statisticsto the government and Finance;
  • Assists the manager in developing the department’s forecast for budgeting and planning purposes

Position Requirements

  • 1-2 years' experience and knowledge of the fundamentals of inventory management is preferred;
  • Strong organizational skills as applied through an ability to manage multiple projects at once;
  • Knowledge and experience with regard to the departmental policies and procedures as well as strategies andgoals pertaining to revenue stock;
  • Experience in a supervisory position and enjoy mentoring and coaching staff;
  • Warehousing management and the principles and processes involved in running the day-to-day operations;
  • Knowledge of databases: SAP - Lo, Broker Connect Stock Centre, SCIAL, BII, Veracore, Policy Centre, PNPDatabase and BID.

Work arrangements defined: 

  • Resident – you will work at your primary in-office headquarters on all scheduled work days.
  • Hybrid 8 – you will work a minimum of 2 days per week at your primary office headquarters, subject to operational requirements. The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia. 
  • Hybrid 10 – you will follow a schedule that alternates between 5 consecutive in-office days at your primary office headquarters and 5 consecutive remote workdays (typically one week in and one week out), subject to operational requirements. The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia. 
  • Mobile – you will work a significant amount of time in the field, in addition to working from an office and optionally working remotely within British Columbia. 
  • Remote – you will work remotely from within British Columbia, with one required visit to your primary office per month.
