ICBC is seeking a Sr. Manager Security & Networking to join our dynamic and growing team. This role is critical to ensure our cybersecurity controls align with our policies and standards as well as delivering identity and networking services. 

 

Position Highlights:

 

  • Lead the Security & Networking teams providing cybersecurity, identity, and networking direction and service in support of all of ICBC’s lines of business. 
  • Ensure that our cybersecurity controls align with our policies and standards across all IT teams in support of our Information Risk Management team. 
  • Deliver on the strategic outcomes in ICBC’s cybersecurity, identity, networking, and cloud strategies. 
  • Maintain partnerships and collaborate effectively with peer managers to successfully support business and operational security goals.
  • Develop and coach managers and staff in alignment with cultural goals. 
  • Guide staff through career transitions as technology capabilities migrate to cloud. 
  • Assist in managing the daily operations and budgets of the Technology Operations department. 
  • Manage the operational relationships and contracts for key vendors. 
  • Ensure continuous improvement in service delivery. 

 

Position Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field/equivalent experience. 
  • Proven experience in IT leadership roles providing enterprise services. 
  • Proven ability to respond to cybersecurity or IT incidents effectively including ensuring activities and communications align with risk. 
  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and proven ability to learn new IT concepts. 
  • Ability to work with business and IT partners to deliver on corporate priorities aligned with enterprise governance. 
  • Strong understanding of change management and leading teams through change with positive outcomes.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Work arrangements defined: 

  • Resident – you will work at your primary in-office headquarters on all scheduled work days.
  • Hybrid 8 – you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia. 
  • Hybrid 10 – you will work a minimum of 10 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically one week in/one week out or up to 3 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia. 
  • Mobile – you will work a significant amount of time in the field, in addition to working from an office and optionally working remotely within British Columbia. 
  • Remote – you will work remotely from within British Columbia, with one required visit to your primary office per month.
