The Information Services Division is currently looking for a Senior Technical Specialist for the ECM (Enterprise Content Management) Platform team. In this position, you will manage and operate a set of ECM platforms, provide expert technical advice and support for other team members, lead and assist with delivery of multiple projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead, coordinate, and deliver technical projects and initiatives of varying complexity for the ECM team
- Provide advanced technical consultation as a subject matter expert for both implemented and emerging technologies; offer guidance and support to IS staff and project teams
- Perform system administration, troubleshooting, maintenance, capacity planning, and performance tuning of ECM platform environments (e.g., Kofax, EngageOne)
- Define and maintain platform sustainment roadmaps aligned with business and technology strategies
- Initiate and plan Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Proof of Technologies (PoTs) to evaluate future service capabilities
- Coordinate the installation, configuration, testing, and implementation of changes and enhancements across all ECM platforms
- Drive strategic technology planning and continual service improvement to enhance customer experience
- Provide estimates for work effort, timelines, costs, and hardware sizing requirements
- Manage software licensing and ensure compliance with vendor agreements
- Review and maintain platform security access and compliance standards
- Act as a liaison between the team and vendors, as well as internal corporate departments such as Procurement, Contracts, Legal, Finance, and ISD Development
Position Requirements:
The ideal candidate should exhibit the following skills:
- Lead technical infrastructure project planning, delivery, and ongoing operational initiatives
- Provide leadership in technical design and capacity planning for enterprise software platforms
- Develop technical requirements, business cases, budgets, and evaluation criteria for IT projects and procurement activities
- Lead the evaluation and selection of vendor solutions and proposals
- Produce accurate estimates for hardware sizing, resource effort, timelines, and overall project costs
- Demonstrate hands-on experience with enterprise platforms, like Kofax and EngageOne
- Experience working across multiple different enterprise-level platforms and environments
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices
- Strong understanding of server, storage, and network infrastructure
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deliver under tight timelines while effectively engaging a broad range of stakeholders
- Apply strong analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues across production, development, and test environments
- Proven written and verbal communication skills

Work arrangements defined:
- Hybrid 8 – you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
