Position Highlights:
We’re looking for an experienced infrastructure manager to oversee our core compute, storage, and data protection platforms. You’ll guide teams supporting Nutanix (HCI), Citrix, and Cohesity backup and recovery foundational services that power mission critical systems across our organization.

Position Requirements:
What You'll Do
- Manage day-to-day operations for virtualization, storage, and backup platforms with a focus on stability, performance, and service quality.
- Manage and develop a multi-disciplinary engineering team across compute, storage, and data protection.
- Oversee platform lifecycle, patching, capacity planning, provisioning, and restore operations.
- Strengthen ransomware resilience, disaster recovery preparedness, and data protection practices.
- Partner with application, cloud, and security teams to deliver reliable services and support business initiatives.
- Contribute to roadmaps that modernize infrastructure and support cloud readiness.

Experience & Technical Leadership
- 5+ years of leadership experience in infrastructure operations.
- Strong technical understanding of: o Nutanix AHV / HCI o Enterprise storage (file, block, object) o Cohesity or similar backup platforms
- Cloud infrastructure experience (Azure and/or AWS), including IaaS and exposure to PaaS services.
- Experience leading services with defined SLOs and ITSM processes.
- Strong communicator skilled at setting expectations, guiding decisions, and aligning stakeholders.
- Proven ability to navigate high operational demand while supporting team wellbeing and platform stability.
- Experience with ransomware resilience, DR planning, and secure operational practices.
Nice to have :
- Experience with Citrix platform operations.
- Experience working in regulated, complex, or highly distributed enterprise environments.
- Experience contributing to cloud operating model development or hybrid-cloud modernization initiatives.
- Background in automation, infrastructure-as-code, or observability tooling.

Position Information:
- ICBC provides comprehensive and flexible benefit coverage to all eligible employees including a defined benefit pension plan.

Work arrangements defined:
- Resident – you will work at your primary in-office headquarters on all scheduled work days.
- Hybrid 8 – you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
- Hybrid 10 – you will work a minimum of 10 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically one week in/one week out or up to 3 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
- Mobile – you will work a significant amount of time in the field, in addition to working from an office and optionally working remotely within British Columbia.
- Remote – you will work remotely from within British Columbia, with one required visit to your primary office per month.
