Position Highlights:
As an IS Solutions Leader (ISSL) in Corporate Solutions – Finance Technologies, you will be a strategic partner to business and technology stakeholders, translating business objectives into robust technical solutions that support ICBC’s investments, finance, and accounting operations. You will lead the design, delivery, and sustainment of solutions leveraging SAP ECC 6.0 (FI/GL/AR/AP/AM/CO) and SAP FSCD, ensuring alignment with ICBC’s technology strategy and business goals.
You will thrive in a dynamic, performance-driven environment, championing innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Your leadership will help ICBC evolve its finance technology landscape, drive adoption of best practices, and deliver measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the SAP Collections and Disbursements (FS-CD) module; preferably with 5+ years hands on experience with configuration of FS-CD, understanding of integration with FS-CD mass activities and events, knowledge of APIs based on FS-CD interface.
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of finance technology solutions, with a focus on SAP ECC 6.0 (FI/GL/AR/AP/AM/CO) modules.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, sustainable technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain solution roadmaps, ensuring alignment with ICBC’s strategic priorities and technology architecture.
- Champion integration of new technologies (Cloud, APIs, microservices) to enhance business capabilities.
- Build strong relationships with business partners, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Influence architectural decisions and advocate for innovative approaches to IT simplification and modernization.
- Support release planning and ensure compliance with ICBC’s governance and risk management frameworks.
- Prepare Initiative Overviews and Business Cases to support new investments and technology initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance to functional teams, balancing business needs, customer experience, and IT strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement, challenge the status quo, and foster a culture of innovation.
- Mentor and coach team members, promoting professional growth and high performance.
- Model ICBC’s values of collaboration, inclusion, and accountability.
Position Requirements:
The IS Solutions Leader role is best suited for an experienced IT professional with a strong finance business focus who will look for opportunities to leverage technology to create a sustainable business advantage.
To make an immediate contribution in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following abilities:
- Formal qualifications in technology, computer science, or a related field.
- Extensive experience with SAP ECC 6.0 Financial Accounting modules (FI, GL, AR, AP, AM, CO) and SAP FSCD.
- Demonstrated experience working on medium to large scale projects ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
- Proven track record in solution architecture and delivery of enterprise finance applications.
- Familiarity with API frameworks, microservices, and cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and best practices.
- Experience working in complex, cross-functional environments and leading teams through change.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Agile and Disciplined Agile delivery frameworks is a strong asset.

Work arrangements defined:
- Resident – you will work at your primary in-office headquarters on all scheduled work days.
- Hybrid 8 – you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
- Hybrid 10 – you will work a minimum of 10 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically one week in/one week out or up to 3 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
- Mobile – you will work a significant amount of time in the field, in addition to working from an office and optionally working remotely within British Columbia.
- Remote – you will work remotely from within British Columbia, with one required visit to your primary office per month.
