The HR Business Partnering team is seeking two experienced HR Business Partners to join their team. Reporting to the Manager HR Business Partners, in this role, you will create and nurture strategic and influential partnerships with operational managers to ensure the success of their departmental people related plans and approaches. Your drive and ability to thoroughly understand your clients’ business objectives will be essential as you execute people-centric programs in line with our corporate culture initiatives and overall people strategy.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with operational managers to develop and implement people related strategies.

Identify trends, opportunities and risks which may impact your assigned business group.

Use data and insights to assess the impact of HR programs and initiatives, making adjustments as needed.

Partner with the Manager HR Business Partners to ensure integrated approaches across all levels of leadership.

Address root causes of issues and implement effective sustainable solutions.
Position Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

Post-secondary credentials in a related field, such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Criminology, or Sociology.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources in an advisory, business partner, or senior operational role.

Knowledge and experience with full HR spectrum and best practices: employee engagement, talent management, career development, succession planning, workforce planning, performance management, remuneration and rewards, organizational effectiveness, change management and employee relations.

Experience supporting diverse workforce, including analytical and data-driven professionals, with resiliency and diplomacy in complex situations.

Able to build and maintain strong partnerships and influence business decisions with all levels of leaders.

Proficiency in diagnostics, data collection and analysis to provide effective solutions or recommendations.
-
Experience with program development and implementation including project and change methodologies.
-
Confidence in presentation and facilitation, with a consultative approach to addressing differences.
-
Effective decision-making, critical thinking, and problem resolution skills.
-
CHPR or other relevant designation is considered as an asset.

Work arrangements defined:
- Hybrid 8 – you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
