The Fair Practices Office has an exciting opportunity for a Fair Practices Advisor. The role is to coordinate the resolution of enquiries and complaints regarding all aspects of corporate business, ensuring ICBC has made administratively fair decisions.

 

A successful candidate will have excellent verbal communication skills and writing ability, a passion for customer service, a well-developed conflict resolution approach. Preference will be given to those who have: supervisory or subject matter expert experience; or, experience in more than one line of business (i.e. Claims, Insurance, Driver Licensing and/or Collections); or, advanced experience with Enhanced Care experience. You are known as a critical thinker and problem solver. You think about a topic or issue in an objective and critical way and seek to achieve the best possible outcomes in any situation.

 

Position Requirements

The above requirements would typically be acquired through post-secondary education related to insurance and to business or social sciences, and several years of experience in the insurance field at progressive levels of responsibility in a customer service environment.
