Position Highlights
We are seeking one (1) permanent full-time Corporate Disbursements Analyst to join our Corporate Disbursements team. This team provides the accounts payable function of the corporation, as well as provides support to the claims, brokers, and financial reporting areas.
As a Corporate Disbursements Analyst, your responsibilities will include BMO Corporate Credit Card processing/administration, vendor master records processing, analysis of vendor payables, responding to vendor inquiries, processing complex invoices, processing expense statements and preparing ad hoc reports, as determined by the Manager Corporate Disbursements. A strong commitment to providing excellent service to internal (inter departmental) and external (public) customers is expected in this role. Your general accounting knowledge and problem-solving orientation is required to investigate and correct discrepancies in accounts and records in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated high level of proficiency and experience with creating and maintaining vendor master records;
- Recent experience in accounts payable, BMO Corporate Credit Card processing/administration and vendor master record processing
- Experience with complex payment processing to vendors, expense reimbursement and purchase orders;
- Strong knowledge of finance/accounting procedures and policies;
- Demonstrated strong written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with their peers, managers, key internal and external stakeholders at all levels;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Above average knowledge of SAP, ClaimCenter and experience in writing/updating job aids and procedure manuals;
- Detail-orientated, highly accurate and proficient with data processing
- Broker commissions accounting knowledge and work experience would be an asset;
- Relevant post-secondary education and/or partial completion of an accounting designation is an asset.

Work arrangement defined:
- Hybrid 8 – you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
