The End User Solutions team at ICBC manages end user workstations and oversees the adoption and support of Microsoft 365 technologies. 

 

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join the Technology Enablement workgroup. The team collaborates with ICBC’s business partners to identify their challenges, providing solutions that make use of Microsoft 365 products. 

  

A Business Systems Analyst serves as a subject matter expert and is responsible for overseeing the completion of daily operational tasks. Additionally, they support corporate projects and internal initiatives by evaluating business requirements and recommending technical solutions within their area of specialization. 

  

To excel in this role, candidates must possess technical knowledge across the entire Microsoft 365 suite of technology solutions, including but not limited to: 

Microsoft Teams, including Teams Premium and Teams Rooms 

To Do and Planner 

OneDrive and SharePoint Online 

Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat 

 

The candidate must have shown, within the past year, experience in: 

  • Creating and leading presentations that effectively convey information, ideas, or messages to an audience in a clear, engaging, and organized manner 
  • Drafting corporate communications, including memos, reports, and announcements, to ensure clear and effective dissemination of information within the organization. 
  • Creating knowledge documents that capture essential information, best practices, and procedural guidelines to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure consistency in operations across the organization. 
  • Creating employee feedback surveys on technology to gather insights and improve user experience. This includes designing the survey, analyzing results, and recommending changes based on feedback. 
  • Participating in technical solution evaluations of Microsoft 365 products to assess the feasibility, scalability, and integration of new technologies within the enterprise environment.  

 

To be considered for this position, candidates must demonstrate the following competencies: 

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. 
  • Proficiency in evaluating new technology for enterprise implementation. 
  • Capability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple concurrent tasks. 
  • Competence in listening to and comprehending end-user requirements. 
  • Aligning decisions with strategic plans or business practices.

Work arrangements defined: 

  • Hybrid 8 – you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
