Position Highlights
Our Business Reporting and Analysis team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analytics Consultant.
We are seeking a results-driven analytics leader to support Claims through data-driven insights and strategic analysis. This role will focus on identifying risks and opportunities, translating complex data into actionable recommendations, and communicating findings to all levels of management, including senior leadership.
Position Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in business analytics with knowledge of both Claims and Insurance data
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data storytelling skills
- Experience with SQL, Zeppelin, and Tableau
- Data analysis, modelling, warehousing and data architecture
- Proven ability to synthesize large datasets into clear insights and executive-level reporting
- Solid understanding of statistical modelling, hypothesis testing, and financial analysis
- Experience working in large, complex organizations with multiple stakeholders
- Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field

Work arrangements defined:
- Hybrid 8 – you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
