The Autoplan Processing Support Services team is seeking a candidate with excellent customer service  experience for an Autoplan Processing Support Services Representative II position in our North Vancouver head office. In this role, you will perform a variety of functions for the department including processing requests for vehicle information, financial transactions and reviewing/updating a variety of database systems on behalf of the Call Center departments.


Responsibilities will include:

• Responding to requests for information from the general public, law enforcement agencies, government and private organizations related to vehicle registration, claims and insurance
• Conducting searches for information on computer databases and microfilm records
• Identifying and/or certifying the release of appropriate documents and information
• Contacting points of service and customers to obtain information
• Processing financial transaction files as directed by Customer Contact Representatives
• Verifying calculation of refund amounts according to department policies
• Determining customers entitlement to a refund for specific financial transactions that require documentation proof
• Identifying insurance information on a variety of systems related to customer policies
• Performing a variety of financial transaction processing including backdated cancellations of insurance  according to procedures.

Position Requirements

Successful applicants will have:
• Great attention to detail, accuracy and analytical skills
• Knowledge of the relevant computer applications and databases to enter, edit and retrieve data and verify records
• Exceptional customer service skills and a strong telephone manner
• The above requirements would typically be met through high school graduation plus job specific skills training related to clerical support and a few months of related experience

Work arrangements defined: 

  • Resident – you will work at your primary in-office headquarters on all scheduled work days.
  • Hybrid 8 – you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia. 
  • Hybrid 10 – you will work a minimum of 10 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically one week in/one week out or up to 3 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia. 
  • Mobile – you will work a significant amount of time in the field, in addition to working from an office and optionally working remotely within British Columbia. 
  • Remote – you will work remotely from within British Columbia, with one required visit to your primary office per month.
