Position Hightlights:

ICBC is seeking a dynamic, proactive, and organized Supplier Programs Coordinator to support our Health Supplier portfolio in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. In this role, you will facilitate the coordination and management of supplier accounts and programs, while providing guidance, resolving issues, and supporting supplier-related activities.

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing, processing and evaluating health vendor applications for new and existing accounts to confirm that our health business partners meet the requirements to obtain and maintain direct billing relationships with ICBC while maintaining their files/records in accordance with departmental guidelines and procedures.
  • Reviewing and responding to a variety of inquiries from internal staff and external business partners regarding vendor accounts, applications, and billing relationships.
  • Reviewing health payment requests, advising on the creation and maintenance of vendor accounts, and supporting Claims in payment processing activities.
  • Building, establishing and fostering relationships with our internal departmental partners and our external health business partners through phone and written correspondence.

Position Requirements:

To make an immediate impact in this role, the successful candidate will bring the following skills and experience:

 

  • Proficiency with relevant computer applications, particularly advanced-level Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to manage complex supplier interactions in a professional and effective manner.
  • Demonstrated initiative and sound judgment, with the ability to be proactive and determine priorities.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and remain flexible in response to changing work demands and schedules while managing a high volume of enquiries in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
  • Good verbal and excellent written communication skills
  • A background in Health Supplier Relations, along with knowledge of SAP, ICBC’s Recovery Network and Claims procedures, would be considered a definite advantage.

 

Please note that this position will transition to ICBC’s new Vancouver head office in 2027.

Work arrangements defined: 

 

  • Hybrid 8 – you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
