Bring your enthusiasm and passion for customer service to our Claims Contact Centre at ICBC!
As a Claims Contact Representative, you will provide customers with information regarding a new claim or an inquiry related to an existing crash or claim, complete initial file documentation and perform other related tasks as you play a key role in the success of the contact center. High energy and excellent communication skills are a must in this diverse position.
Position Requirements
This position will commence with 4-6 weeks of 100% on-site training at the location you are hired for. After completion of training, this position will be on a Hybrid 8 model (8 days in the office per month).
To meet the challenges of this role you have:
- Exceptional customer service and strong multi-tasking skills
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
- Flexible team working skills with strong verbal communication and telephonephone expertise
- Previous call center experience is an asset.
You are a natural critical thinker who enjoys finding solutions to problems. Previous customer service and / or call centre experience is preferred. This position requires sitting for extended periods of time and wearing a telephone headset. Candidates should possess strong analytical and organizational skills. You thrive in a busy team environment with an additional focus on efficiencies and accuracy.
Position Information
Current Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
Shifts will be either 8:30am to 4:30pm or 9:00am to 5:00pm.

- Abbotsford
- Kamloops
- Nanaimo
- Surrey - Guildford Corporate Centre

Work arrangements defined:
- Hybrid 8 – you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia. Please note there are updates to the hybrid model, starting September. This role will be moving to 2 days per week in office.
